Get a progress update on Oregon’s Climate Action Plan

This invitation is from our partners at SOCAN and is comes at the perfect time for reviewing the OCAP. Put this on your calendar!

The 2021 Oregon legislative session is about half over. By the end of April, we will be able to see which proposals are moving forward and which are being thwarted or modified. Meanwhile, agency efforts to develop the Oregon Climate Action Plan (OCAP) resulting from Governor Brown’s March 2020 Executive Order 20-04 are underway and have been afforded a mid-course evaluation by the coalition.

The April SOCAN General Meeting, scheduled for 6-7 pm Tuesday, April 27, will be dedicated to a summary of Oregon legislative and OCAP updates. If their legislative schedules permit, Representative Pam Marsh and Senator Jeff Golden have agreed to join us to offer perspectives from their respective chambers and committees.

There is no charge for joining the ZOOM meeting, but participants must register. The registration link is available on the SOCAN calendar event for April 27th: https://socan.eco/events/
